Just found this shortcut when I tried to edit my google spreadsheet file. Use Ctrl + a number you can to go that Tab in Chrome. Their order starts from lefthand side. Accroding to some news today, Google Chrome only has 1.15% market share in Feb 09. Mozilla Firefox has more than 21.77%. (Net Applications). It seems Google Chrome still has a long way to reach it’s real  target - the real target is the very core of Microsoft – Windows and Office (Net Applications).
