Since my old Simpson washer has gone, I have to buy a new one. After research we made our mind to buy a front loading washing machine. Initially we chose LG 8105, but it was out order in NAPF electronics. Fortunately an Electrolux fell into our sight instead, which is a little bit more expensive than the former one. For the day of Chiristmas was approaching, actually only one day to go, we must decide as soon as possible. The shop assistant, who was also a Chinese, promised us they could do delivery the day before Chiristmas. The price for the same model was cheaper than Harvey Norman, Bing Lee and Dicksmith. So we were happy to move ahead.
In Australia, there are advantages for you to buy a good washing machine. If it is more than 4 stars water saver, then you can claim $150.00 rebate from Sydney Water before July 2008. Generally speaking, front loading washing machine consume less water than top loading one. I found there are also some top loading washing machines with 4 or more water saving stars, which are qualified to $150 rebate as well. I prefer front loading, because it is quiter, heavier. Most importantly it save electricity.
今天在家里整理了很多抽屉，昨天晚上还整理了很多文件，包括当时申请移民的材料，甚至还有刚来到澳洲的许多材料。可是最重要的是把相框，钟表等用Blu Tack挂起来了，房间增色不少。因为租房子住，所以无法随意在墙面上做装饰，今天可算是找到了合适的方法。其实呢，很早就有用Blu Tack，可就是没有想到充分使用它。在网上找到了一篇相关的文章，转帖如下：
Make your own gallery at home
Gather your favourite family snaps together and create a stylish wall of memories. Just follow these three quick steps to framing and hanging your photos.
You will need
Photos; pencil; archival mat boards; mat cutter with ruler (using the 45˚ blade); acid-free photo tape; cutting mat; frames. All available from art supplies stores.
Step 1.
Measure the size of the photo to be framed and determine the size of the mat window. Using a ruler and pencil, measure and mark the window to be cut out on the back of the mat. A window in the centre works best.
Step 2.
Line up the mat cutter and rule on the line marked. With light pressure, drag the cutter repeatedly along the line until you get a clean cut. Repeat for the remaining sides of the window. Using archival tape, attach the photo to the mat board. Place in frame.

To hang your frames, start by arranging them on the floor and playing around with configurations and spacing. Alternatively, use newspaper cut-outs to replicate the size of your frames, place your main piece in the middle of the wall with Blu-Tack or removable tape, then arrange the other pieces around it. Move them around until you’re satisfied. Study the arrangement from the place you are most likely to occupy when in that room. Keep frames close together to maintain a tight focal point, with the centre point of the middle frame at eye level. Each frame should be no more than 10cm apart.
Getting the hang of it
Wide expanses of wall benefit from groupings of smaller, framed artworks. Heighten the impact of grouped pictures by using identical frames and mat boards. The arrangement here is quite formal with a symmetrical grouping of frames. This works well because we have used frames that are the same colour and size, framing similar photos and subject matter.

Yesterday we have been to Parramatta picking up my Polo 4013. A little excited after I got it ’cause it is my first personalised sunglasses in Australia. It is a classic one. I call it personalised only for the reason that it is shortsighted. Cannot image how wonderful it would be if my eyes are good enough without wearing a pair of glasses.
首先用电话付了Allianz的CTP，也就是Green Slip，然后不到10分钟RTA那边就收到了eGreen Slip，在myRTA.com输入了我的Billing Number后其他注册信息自动出现，确认无误后进入了payment的页面，输入了信用卡的号码和验证码，然后就全部Ok了。就这么简单，因为我的是新车，所以都不需要车检的，在RTA给的Certificate of Registration上清楚地写着Inspection Not Required。整体上感觉澳洲的基础网络还是很棒的。

- 首先注意要设置单元格格式，日期当然是必须是日期格式，要求计算天数的单元格要使用普通的数字格式，这样才能算出天数。
- 可以在一个单元格中写上=“日期1”-“日期2”，也可以引用单元格日期值进行计算。

很多人都在讨论论live.com，或者是live.cn的邮箱，我也凑凑热闹。但是按照大家说的方法把握的浏览器语言改成Eng-Us后发现直接能注册的是live.com.au或者是hotmail.com，所以就注册了一个live.com.au，可是其实我是想有live.com的。Anyway, 现代人的邮箱有些偏多了。
